Moto X Pure or Axon 7?

I'm needing a new phone and was about to purchase the Nexus 6P when I read about the call quality issue. Since I frequently use my phone to make work calls, bad call quality is a deal breaker. So, would you get the Moto X Pure even though it is about a year out (for the pure android experience) and known quantity or the Axon 7 (with amazing specs). Right now the 64GB versions of both are the same price. So, android experts, what say you?
