Leak: New Images Show Off Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro Dummy Units ~ All Things Android

An image surfaced earlier today, showing off the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro dummy units, well, a new leak has just popped up and it comes with a ton more images of the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro dummy phones. Do keep in mind that these are non-functional units, they’re only supposed to be showing off the design of the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, which will be announced later today during Huawei’s press event in Berlin.

Having said that, if you take a look at the first image down below, you will be able to see the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, even though this image is a bit confusing. The first two phones in the image are both named the Huawei Mate 10, even though one sports a front-facing fingerprint scanner, while the other one does not. It is not that likely that Huawei will introduce two variants of the regular Mate 10, it’s more likely that the phone will include a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, than the front-facing one, but there you have it, these are the two designs that have popped up. The phone on the right is the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, a handset which will have the thinnest bezels in the Mate 10 family, it seems. This phone will sport a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and Huawei’s branding below the display. Both the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro will ship with a dual camera setup on their backs, and also Leica’s lenses.

Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel both the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, while both phone will probably ship with 6GB of RAM on the inside. Android 8.0 Oreo will come pre-installed on both smartphones, while Huawei’s Emotion UI (EMUI) skin will be included on top of it. The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is rumored to sport a 5.99-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, while the Huawei Mate 10 will probably sport a display of a similar size. A 4,000mAh non-removable battery is rumored to be included on the inside of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, while we still do not have concrete info when it comes to the Mate 10’s battery pack. Both of these phones will probably be made out of metal and glass, and you can check out their design in the gallery down below, as quite a few dummy units surfaced.
