Huawei had introduced its Mate 10 flagship family two days ago, and the company did say that all three Mate 10 devices will ship in November (globally), well, it seems like China will be ahead of the rest of us. The Huawei Mate 10 (multiple models) popped up on the company’s official store in China, vMall, and according to the provided info, the phone will go on sale on October 20. Having said that, pre-registrations are already live, for those of you who are interested.
That is not all, however, a new model of the regular Huawei Mate 10 surfaced in China as well, a model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. As a reminder, the regular Mate 10, which was announced in Berlin two days ago, comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, so this is definitely a new variant that Huawei plans to sell in China, which puts it side-by-side with the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, who’s base (and only) model comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. Having said that, Huawei had already scheduled a press event in China on October 20, so it seems like the company will start selling the Mate 10 phones immediately after it announces them, at least in its homeland, Europe and some other regions will get it in early November, based on what Huawei told us in Berlin. Huawei will probably announce both the Mate 10 Pro and PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10 next to the Mate 10 on October 20, and we already have all the necessary info when it comes to those phones, as the initial announcement for all of them is behind us.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro and PORSCHE DESIGN Mate 10 are almost identical, the only difference comes to the Porsche branding on the latter, its internal storage (128GB of storage compared to 256GB) and the paint job, the PORSCHE EDITION Mate 10 comes in a special color which is not available for any of the other models. All of these phones are fueled by the same chip, the Kirin 970 64-bit octa-core processor, while all of them also come with Android 8.0 Oreo, on top of which you’ll find Huawei’s custom UI, Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.0. All the Mate 10 flagships also come with the same dual camera setup on the back, those two cameras are backed by Leica’s lenses, and Huawei’s AI technology.
