A new leak seems to reveal the announcement date for the OnePlus 5T in India, if you take a look at the provided presentation slide, the OnePlus 5T will arrive on November 16. Now, this image does not specifically mention India, but considering the looks of it, and the ‘Amazon Exclusive’ part at the very top of it, we’re almost certain this is India-related. Having said that, Evan Blass said quite recently that the device will arrive after November 20, so these two pieces of info do not really agree one with the other, as the device probably will not launch in India first, but it will be the other way around, the phone will almost certainly be announced on a global scale first, as the OnePlus 5 was.
In any case, the presentation slide that you can see above this article also show off the phone itself, and as rumored, this handset’s design will be based on the OPPO R11s’ design. OPPO actually listed the OPPO R11s on its official website, even though the phone was not made official just yet, but the company did confirm its design, and the OnePlus 5T in this leak looks just like it. That basically means that the device will sport really thin bezels, and a rear-facing fingerprint scanner on the back. The phone’s display will sport rounded corners, and on the back of this handset, you will notice a dual camera setup which protrudes a bit on the back. This image also reveals that the volume buttons and an alert slider will keep its place, as will the power / lock key, that part will remain unchanged compared to the OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 5T will probably ship with a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) AMOLED display, while the device will arrive in both 6GB and 8GB RAM variants, we’re looking at LPDDR4X RAM here. Those two RAM variants will probably pack in 64GB and 128GB of internal storage, while you will not get a microSD card expansion here. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core processor will fuel this smartphone, while the phone will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo, on top of which you’ll also get OnePlus’ OxygenOS skin.
