Woot today, and today only, is selling the Amazon Tap as a certified refurbished model for just $60. It’s $54.99, plus a $5 flat rate shipping fee, which makes the Amazon Tap a pretty great price. This is also the lowest the certified refurbished Amazon Tap has ever been, the previous low was $70.
The Amazon Tap is a portable Alexa-enabled speaker from Amazon. It does have Alexa always-listening, but that is turned off by default to keep the battery running for as long as possible. With Alexa built-in, you get access to thousands of different Alexa skills, including the ability to have audiobooks read to you from Audible (which you can get a free trial here), you can also order food using GrubHub, Domino’s or Pizza Hut, as well as a few other places and so much more. Of course, the Amazon Tap is also great for playing music, which many services are available with Alexa already including Google Play Music, Amazon Music Unlimited, Spotify and many more.
This product is fulfilled by Amazon, but does not qualify for free Prime shipping unfortunately. According to Woot’s website, it will arrive around October 26th, which is about a week away, but Woot does like to underpromise and overdeliver so you should get it before then.
