Leak: Retail Box And Promo Poster Show Off The OPPO F5 ~ All Things Android

The OPPO F5’s announcement is right around the corner, and now the phone’s retail box has surfaced, along with a promo poster which reveals the OPPO F5 variants that we’ll get. Now, it’s worth noting that the phone’s specs popped up earlier today as well, so we already have plenty of info when it comes to this smartphone. Before we get started it’s worth noting that the OPPO F5 will be announced on October 26, and it seems like the press event will be in the Philippines.

In any case, if you take a look at the first image in the gallery down below, you will be able to see the phone’s retail box. As you can see, this is a rather regular white box with the phone plastered over its front side. This retail box also gives us a rather good look at the device itself, this is a gold color variant of the device which comes with a white-colored front. The phone sports really thin bezels, and the display corners of this phone are rounded, while a fingerprint scanner is located on the back side of the OPPO F5. A single camera is also available on the back of the OPPO F5, and next to it, you’ll be able to spot a dual-tone flash. The OPPO F5 will utilize on-screen buttons, by the looks of it, which will be a change for OPPO, as the company’s previous device shipped with capacitive keys, and some of them combined capacitive and physical buttons.

The second image in the gallery down below shows you the OPPO F5 promo poster that surfaced. Here you can see three color variants of the phone, the pure black one, the red one and the gold one. This poster re-confirms that the phone will sport a 6-inch fullHD+ (2160 x 1080) display, that it will be available in both 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, and that you’ll get 64GB of storage on the inside. A 16-megapixel main camera is also mentioned here, and if previous rumors are to be believed, the phone will sport two SIM card slots, and a 20-megapixel front-facing snapper. It’s also worth noting that the OnePlus 5T / 6 is rumored to be based on the OPPO F5, well, its design is, as the OnePlus 5’s design was based on the OPPO R11.
